Emma is a member of our electronics, computing & physics and engineering teams with particular experience in the fields of optics, medical devices, computer software, nanotech and semiconductor devices. Her work encompasses patent drafting, patent prosecution at the European Patent Office and the UK Intellectual Property Office, and opposition and appeal work. Her clients include universities, start-ups and multi-nationals. She has particular experience in working with start-ups to build and manage their patent portfolios and also advises clients on freedom to operate and infringement issues.
